This week in Math we have been multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. We also had to remember to put our answers in simplest form. We learned the formula for converting Celcius to Fahernheit, which is F=9/5C+32. Over half of the class made an A on the Chapter 8 Math Test! In Science we are learning about the three states of matter: solid, liquid and gas. We have learned the difference in physical and chemical changes. Mrs. Sturdivant even inflated a balloon with vinegar and baking soda. We are also testing the effect of oxygen on an apple, potato and steel wool. Our Daily Geography lesson this week has focused on rivers of the United States.
